stuck in one.

the ⏸ button gets stuck. you can't slow down, can't stop, can't rest — even when the day is technically over. the mind keeps running long after the body wants to stop.

the ▶ button gets stuck too. you know what needs to happen. the tab is open. the intention is real. and yet. you can't begin.

both of these are nervous system events, not character flaws. both have names. both have reasons. and both have botanical answers that have existed for thousands of years — before they had clinical trials, before they had tiktok, before the west discovered them and called them superfoods.

pause and play is about the switch between the two states. and about trying a little easier to move it.

the pause stuck
can't stop. still running at 11pm. rest doesn't feel restful. the 3am wake. the mind that won't quiet even when the world has.
the play stuck
can't begin. the tab has been open for three days. you know what to do and you can't make yourself do it. that's not laziness. that's a stuck switch.
